HONEY WALNUT PRAWNS!!

who doesn't love this i learned this recipe in my asian 
class from culinary a few years back
but looked it up had to cook it up enjoy try it cooking is fun

serving: 6 

ingredients:

-1/2 c. walnuts
-1/2 c. sugar
-2 c. oil
-1 lb jumbo prawns, peeled and deveined (cut on the back and pull the vein out)
-1/2 c. cornstarch
-3 egg whites
-1/4 c. honey 
-3 tbsp. mayonnaise
-1 tbsp. lemon juice or white vinegar 
-1 tbsp. sweetened condensed milk 

directions:

boil walnuts in 5 cups of water for 10 mins. then drain. place walnuts and 1/2 cup sugar  into 2 pints of boiling water  for another 10 mins. remove the walnuts from the water and coat with honey. heat 2 cups of oil until almost smoking then fry walnuts until they are shiny and brown this would take about 5-8 mins. remove and place of a cooling sheet or a cookie sheet. mix the cornstarch and egg whites together to form a think and sticky mixture. mix shrimp into this mixture and set aside. mix mayonnaise,leon juice and condensed milk in a medium bowl until smooth. heat 1/2 cup of oil and deep fry shrimp until golden brown (dont put all the shrimp put about 5 to 6 so they wont stick together) drain shrimp and then fold into the mayonnaise sauce then!!!! eat it up!!BON APPITTE
